Spanish TV chef Omar Allibhoy will whip up delicious treats during a tapas night at Restaurant Rouge, Romford on Thursday 10 November.
Along with New City College hospitality and catering students, Omar will offer an affordable menu – £20 for 6 tapas – at the college’s commercial restaurant in Chadwell Heath Lane, from 6pm (last order 7.15pm).
Described by Gordon Ramsey as the Antonio Banderas of the kitchen, Omar launched the Tapas Revolution chain of restaurants, appeared on numerous television shows such as Sunday Brunch, The One Show, This Morning, MasterChef and Saturday Kitchen, and has wrote two best-selling cookbooks.
He would bring the delights of Spain to Havering and Redbridge creating dishes such as Chorizo a la Sidra (spicy chorizo sausage simmered with sweet cider), Gambas al Ajillo (tiger prawns in oil garlic and parsley cooked in the traditional terracotta pot) and Alitas de Pollo a la Miel y Limon (Crispy Chicken Wings Marinated with Lemon and Honey Vinaigrette) among many others – all served in the elegant restaurant Rouge recently renovated.
The special price will allow locals affected by the cost of living crisis to enjoy meals cooked by celebrity chefs at a great price!
