‘Reach for the Stars’ Green Edition features Spanish chef Marc Segarra

Green star chef Marc Segarra and Giacomo Giannottione of the best bartenders in the world, launches a new series of dinner parties

Vila Vita Parc in Porches will welcome, on August 12, the Spanish chef Marc Segarra – distinguished with a green Michelin star – who will create a sumptuous and seasonal menu accompanied by cocktails from one of the best bartenders in the world, the Italian Giacomo Giannotti.

It’s the start of the ‘Reach for the Stars’ green themed dinner series and will highlight how culinary geniuses can create exceptional cuisine that is also sustainable and eco-friendly.

From the restaurant El Refectorio, at the Hotel Abadía Retuerta – awarded the first green star in 2020 – the Spanish chef Marc Segarra, accompanied by the Portuguese chef João Viegas (who runs the restaurant Atlântico de Vila Vita), will create a tasting menu based on what most brings them together, work focused on reducing the restaurant’s environmental footprint, with seasonal and local products that respect the ecosystem of the region in which they are located.

This menu will be harmonized by one of the big names in mixology, the Italian Giacomo Giannotti. From Paradiso to Barcelona – now the third best cocktail bar in the world, according to The World’s 50 Best Bars – Giannotti will create cocktails exclusively for this event.

The evening begins at the Manzar Terrace at 7 p.m. with a welcome cocktail by Giacomo Giannotti, followed by dinner at the Atlântico restaurant with chef Marc Segarra and chef João Viegas.

The tasting menu costs €125 per person, with the possibility of food and wine pairing for €75 per person. And it gives immediate access to the cocktail on the Manzar Terrace. Advance reservation is recommended at +351 282 310 100 or [email protected]

This set of dinners dedicated to “green” cuisine – Reach for the Stars Green Edition – is part of the program dedicated to gastronomy within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Vila Vita Parc.
