Spanish chef Dani Garcia to collaborate with Fatih Tutak at The House on Sathorn


The beautiful, old-fashioned restaurant The house on Sathorn at W Hotel invited Spanish Michelin sensation Dani Garcia to host a collaborative dinner with its Turkish-born Executive Chef Fatih Tutak, merging the delicious taste of Andalusia with the humble flavor of Anatolia only on 2-3 November.

With nearly 20 years in the best cuisines of Spain, chef Dani Garcia has made his restaurants the destinations of all gourmets with two Michelin stars won for the Calima restaurant in Marbella and the Daní Garcia restaurant at the Puente Romano hotel. . He is praised for uplifting the flavor of his homeland in Andalusia, as well as for breaking down borders and introducing an unconventional blend of flavors.

The 12-course dinner (9,990B) begins with the rich umami bites of Hokkaido’s sea urchin pie with mashed black beans and the super fluffy foie gras yogurt with frozen plump citrus chunks, courtesy of the chef Dani. Dinner is then followed by Chef Dani’s signature dishes such as the super refreshing sea urchin gazpacho and the “fake tomato” made with tomato mousse.

Chef Fatih brings modern Turkish influence as in his rich, umami version tarhana(fermented soup) of maitake mushrooms and braised wagyu beef kavurma(a festive Turkish meat dish) with onion consomme and mountain thyme.
